Huckleberry's Adventure Club is a unique service, for dog parents who want to feel confident that their dog is getting exceptional, personalised care and socialisation, in a safe and structured environment.
Some dogs need more than a one hour walk and more enrichment than a static doggy daycare can provide. Mixing large numbers of dogs of different breeds, ages and temperaments can lead to overstimulation and the development of behavioural issues. Not all dogs thrive in a daycare setting and, like humans, not all dogs are compatible.
I'm Candice. After a 15 year career in Policing and a hankering after a new challenge, I created the service I wish had existed for my own dog; a daft, high energy Golden Retriever called Huckleberry. I've thoughtfully curated this bespoke service, around all of the elements that make for happy dogs and happy owners. It has been tailored specifically toward high energy dogs, with adventures to harness their natural drives.
We bond small, carefully selected groups, all of a similar temperament, to provide EPIC experiences and outstanding care for your dog.
We explore stimulating, magical locations every day. One day we're fairy hunting in the forest, the next we're swimming in a loch or racing up a mountain. Our dogs have a blast every day and will be tuckered out and content when they get home.
From pick-up to drop-off, you can focus on your day with confidence. we'll handle it from start to finish, you don't even need to be home! We're fully insured (including key cover) so we'll collect your dog from home and after an exciting adventure we'll settle them again, safe, tired & happy, ready to snooze until you return.
All adventures include transport and snacks, so you don't need to worry about a thing.
You'll receive daily updates and photos of our adventures, as well as an update when they're home.

Services
THE ADVENTURE CLUB
Let your pup embark on an adventure off the beaten path; filled with exploration, play and socialisation. We cover a small pick-up area, which means less time in the doggy bus and more time at our adventure locations. We spend our time sniffing, searching, playing and swimming. Maybe we'll look for squirrels, hunt for fairies, take a refreshing dip, whatever we fancy.
Pawrents receive daily photos and video updates so you can track our shenanigans and share the fun with family and friends.
Once we're all tired out we head back to the bus for a dry off, a nice cold drink and a tasty 100% natural snack. We have comprehensive key cover insurance for our client houses, so whether you're home or not, we will get your pup home safely and settled, ready for a content snooze after a big day. We can also administer lunch/snack if required. We are fastidious in securing homes and provide text updates on drop-off, so you can remain worry free.
We bespoke tailor every adventure depending on the group and their personalities. The aim of our walks is that the enrichment is led by our dogs and their drives. While we by default cover several miles of walking on every adventure we take time to allow the dogs to use their noses, roll in leaves and engage in play. We want our dogs to wear themselves out, doing the things that they love.

At Huckleberry Adventure Days your dog's wellbeing is at the centre of everything we do.
Our luxury doggy bus ensures a safe and comfortable journey for your dog. It's equipped with all the amenities for a joyful ride. Your dog will travel in style, making new friends along the way. Our top of the range, crash tested transport crating system has been bespoke designed with safety and comfort in mind. All crates are XL in size and fitted with cosy, soft matting to protect precious bones and paws, which means your dog will have plenty of room to lie down and turn, and will never have to share. They are also super quiet and don't rattle across the lumps and bumps of the city roads. Great for nervous travellers. The van is kept spotlessly clean and is fully sanitised after every adventure.
